7:09 PMWell, i really enjoyed these 5 days of holiday. haha. Wednesday was metamorphosis, Thursday was shepherds retreat, Friday was movie, shopping and catching up with friends.
Saturday i had service and a very fruitful meeting with gideon and the ULs. I guess Gideon and Chantel's advice really helped me alot in leading the girls in my group. At least now, it gave me a clearer picture in which direction they should be heading and how to deal with certain issues. Thanks man! haha.
After meeting, i managed to catch Tim Burton's animation called 9 with weijin and walmond. Went to Starbucks to chill after the show, had a great time of talking. When 3 army guys come together, we just kept talking about our army life. hahaha! Comparing with each other and sharing our experiences. lol.
I feel i spent a little too much this short holiday. HAHA. yeah, i'm always very lousy at managing my finances. Spent around 100 bucks on clothes. A blue plain jumper from River Island and a black tee from Pull and Bear. I really love that blue jumper though, love the fitting. haha! I kept telling myself its okay to spend a lil more since its my birthday month, so that gave me the extra incentive to make myself happy by buying clothes. hehe.
Well, and here i stand again, the thin line between a army life and a civilian life. Booking in about 2 hours. I really cherish my civilian life alot, the joy of able to spend time with friends, sleep on your own bed, waking up knowing that you can on your macbook and check soccer results, watching movies in the afternoon and walking around in town. When you're in camp, every little privilege seems so precious to you. Your admin time in bunk, the time that you're booking out and every drop of soft drink that flow into your mouth that brings so much smile to everyone's faces. Sounds kinda deprived right? haha. I guess its something that i must get used to. Freedom being robbed away. =( . Well, take it lightly, and remind myself that I'm serving the nation. HAHA. =/.
Btw, this song keeps on ringing in my mind. haha. Damn nice.

FeetWashers ( aka the youth football team) made it to the finals!!!! woohoo!!!
We came into the competition kinda as an underdogs. Just imagine, a bunch of school kids coming together against other guys who are bigger, more experienced and taller than most of us. Going to the finals didn't even cross our minds during our very first match, our main goal is we just wanna have fun and to play with integrity.
I guess we played along with this mindset, WE PLAY FOR THE KING. That is Lord Jesus himself! Before every match, we'll pray and deep in our hearts, we know that we have the 12th man on the pitch with us. Playing along with us and giving us the strength to carry on despite certain setbacks. Here we are, defeated Tag United 2-0! wooo! We played really well. I was only disappointed with myself not grabbing that easy goal at the end. =(. Its alright! Football is a team sport. =D.
Btw, the finals is on 21st September at YCK stadium! haha! I really hope we can win. =)
Anyway, the past week was a tiring week for me. Stayed in camp for 9 days straight because of Army Open House. We slept around 11 plus and woke up at 4am everyday so as to prepare for the open house. Did bag checking for first 2 days and rest of the 3 days was directing traffic in the hot sun. haha. Breathed in all the exhaust fumes from the cars made me a little bit sick at the end. Thank god i was ok. =D.
Everyday i just look forward to drinking the starbucks there! hhaha! I spent around 20 plus dollars there on starbucks. It's sucha refreshing and happy drink for me especially after a hard day of work, you can just sit down and enjoy your starbucks Frapp. =). I think i'm a starbucks addict. ahhaa!!.
I really thank god for this few days off in lieu given by the officers. Really need a break from army and do things that i really like. =D. Shopping, good food and movies!! woohoo.
Last night i went for prayermeet at nexus. Was really spiritually refreshing and thank god that Alvina managed to be holy baptized! woohoo! Kinda lost my voice at the end after the baptism. haha. But it's worth it. hehe.
Btw, today i'm having NE shepherd's retreat! Think i will be back home a little later.Or should i say, early, like ard 2am 3am?
I was actually hoping to catch the new animation movie called 9 tomorrow. =p.
