It was all of a sudden, when marcus me and donavan decided to go Just Acia for our dinner after some walking around in town. We started joking and talking crap when we all became quiet all of a sudden. We started doing our own things and after awhile, we started looking up. The same expression and burden began to take control of all of us. God planted and watered the seed of burden into our hearts.
We then started to realize how little time we have for CG08, how important is for all of us to do a part in completing this vision for God. We started to realize the CG08 is not just a mere vision or a future that's good to hit, but it's a goal to reach for jesus, involving the life transformation of many. People turning from sinful nature to Godly people doing God's will.
We started sharing amongst ourselves but we can't take it, we asked our guys who is around our table to come as we shared to them. After sharing, we started to call the rest of the coreteam members to meet at Potong Pasir MRT so we can share to them the spirit that God planted in our hearts.
Scott came to meet us at dhoby ghaut and we shared to him our conviction to him at dhoby ghaut MRT. We're holding our bibles and sharing to him in the middle but we don't care, we just want our guys to get the vision and spirit. While traveling to Potong Pasir MRT, it was around 10plus going to 11pm but that did not stop us from sharing to our people, neither does it stop the dudes from rushing down to potong pasir MRT.
In the train, Marcus and Donavan and Cheehwee shared christ in the train. It was really a stepping up of faith and they did really well. When we reached Potong Pasir MRT, Donavan, marcus and me started to share our convictions that God planted in our hearts earlier. Gabriel, Shipeng, Chester , Nigel and Daryl were there. We used simple verses from the bible and simple words. Yet these words became a double edged swords and impacted the dudes that came to hear. People started tearing and going into deep thoughts and reflections. TOTALLY different from we experienced during camp, this time, it was the working of the holy spirit.
We simple share about the vision of NEB. Seeing 50 people in SA, 25 in Montfort and 25 in St GAB. This big vision will mean that all the dudes in NEB now to become Careleaders in the future. Many to take up leadership roles. Hebrews 11 :1-2, it was when the ancients were commended because of their faith and being certain of what they do not see. Man, i believe the coreteam members who heard the conviction today caught the spirit and seriousness of winning their schools for Jesus. We don't wanna just hear the lessons during camp and later become a deaf ear towards it. Because Proverbs 28:9 tells us clearly that our Prayers will be detestable if we're deaf ears towards the law. Wow.
During camp, many may be emotionally high. But what happened just now, was the working the God's word into people's lives. Lives are gonna change. Lives are gonna be impacted. Lives are going to live on the edge for Jesus. NEB will be the one that start off the spark. NEB's passion and zeal will definitely grow and influence many to go on board and embark seriously for CG08.
God i know, divine exchange has happened. It's now Divine exchangED. Thank you God. We're believing in you for so much more.
