2:48 PMIt's my birthday on Monday! 25th September. I had a surprise birthday celebration while mugging halfway in Bishan Macs. It was all well planned by Alvin KOH! LOL. I was definitely touched by what he has done for me. Buying cake, gathering the studying group people and giving me a memorable time. He bought me a Banana Milk( inspired from the HL milk advert, it's a sunny yellow, banana day) and Sunshine bread. LOL. THANKS ALVIN KOH for your effort in planning this celebration!
On Monday, received quite a number of gifts from my friends. THANKS for all the gifts that you've given me! I do appreciate them alot! My class sang me a happy birthday song. HAHA. In fact, i don't really like the feeling when people are singing happy birthday song to me. I've been asking myself this question all this years but have yet to find out an answer to this strange thinking. LOL. But thanks for all your gifts and sms-es! After school headed down to RC and there awaits me another celebration. This time was organised by my shepherd, Freedy. LOL. Well, there's booby traps all around, Weilun was hiding behind the door to try to spray whipped cream on my hair. But due to my *spidey sense*, i managed to escape from it. LOL. Not entirely escape from it because they ran to me and sprayed on my hair. =( LOL. It was fun though.HAHA.
Tuesday- Skipped school. HAHA. Was camping myself at Bishan to study. Met up with Weijin for lunch before our tuition. We just talked about those good old days back in SA. Where everything seems to nice and fun. This perpetual sense of belonging to the school will never be oblivious. Even during tuition, Weijin and me chatted alot on how we were being attacked by crows and when we're walking past all those terraces with guard dogs that soon began to bark so loudly at us. We laughed and joked around, just like the old times. HAHA.
Weds- Had Math test in the morning. It was a tough paper to tackle. Really hope that i can get at least 20/30. School's boring as usual. After school, headed down to RC for Caregroup. I'm just so glad Nicholas decided to come back and make the church his spiritual home now. I believe that many of us were encouraged by what he shared today. =D. Had dinner with him and donavan. Went back to RC to shepherd Donavan. Taught him a lesson about the kind of leader God uses. =D
This week's particularly great for me. My birthday wishes are firstly to see my Caregroup multiplying to a size of 15 strong people. It's been too long that i've been talking about this. I hope before 2006 ends, my group can finally hit a unit size!
Secondly is i wanna see a breakthrough in my studies. I wanna get promoted! LOL.
Thirdly, is that i want to see myself growing more in God. I hope that my relationship with God is able to move to another higher level. I defintely do not want to develope a nonchalant attitude towards this relationship and towards my people as well. Afterall, this entire relationship with God, LOVE is the main factor that makes this relationship meaningful. LOVE is the center of this walk with Him. He showed his LOVE on calvary some 2000 years ago, now it's up to us to be as vessels for him to use to shower LOVE upon his people. This is 1 area i want to see myself growing in. =D
Anyway, THANKS FOR ALL THE PRESENTS AND WISHES I RECEVIED FROM MY FRIENDS! THANKS!

Woohoo, today's a tiring day. Was out for the entire day. Met up with stephen for shepherding before Service starts. Service was great, the Praise and Worship was just simply fantastic. Had lunch in Starhub foodcourt before Marcus and me rushed off for Careleader's meet. Impactful teaching by Shirley. After that, went back Starhub foodcourt to slack awhile before Marcus, Alvin,Weilun, HuaXiang went to PS to dine at Burger King. Marcus went off then the remaining 4 went to play lan! HAHA! We played Call of Duty( first person shooter). I'm the top fragger! =D Reached home at 12am?! AAhh, i think i better go and sleep already.

Saturday, September 23, 2006 2:21 AMShouldn't have come school today. Only 1hour 30mins of Maths tutorial is relatively fruitful. Thus, i wasted 6hrs of school today. Why? GP for 2hrs and we used that period to discuss about whether should we have a class chalet. However, the good news is that my group's Written Report is a "Exceeding Expectation" grade! But the grade will not be confirm because it still needs to be mark by other tutors. Physics teacher didn't come, another hour wasted. Break for 2 hours then chinese. Omg, should have skip school today. LOL.
Went for prayermeet at RC. Had NorthEast's careleaders meet. After that, headed down to Orchard with Donavan and Marcus. Finally got my hands on the ipod nano! YES!! =D . Went to Bugis Street, Marcus and Donavan bought a bag each.
Tomorrow's gonna be a long day again. Shepherding Stephen tomorrow morning, service, meeting and gonna meet Freedy to discuss some ministry stuff. Whole day gonna be burnt. Lord, i need your strength to pull me through!

Thursday, September 21, 2006 2:58 PMAfter school, rushed off to RC for Caregroup. Glad to see Nicholas Chew came back! I always believe that God never give up on his children and will continously use people to save his lost sheeps. Gave a teaching to my CG and it went well! I pray that this group can really grow beyond its current size now. 8 to 9 people is really not enough, we gotta see more people crossing the line of faith and step into the kingdom of Light!
After caregroup, we began to Tau Pok(human stacking) one another. First victim was Andre. Then later, Marcus and Andre brought me down and everyone soon came piling on me. It's damn pain! LOL. But it's fun man. haha. During camp, we're gotta tau pok more people.
Went to Bishan to meet Weilun, yihui and Julian for dinner. After dinner went to Bishan CC to study. I'm beginning to realize that time is always against us and i must thus, speed up my revision for promos. I just hate that word, PROMOS.
Ipod Nano, here i come! I think i'll be getting the black color one. Much cooler. hehe.

Monday, September 18, 2006 12:22 AMThe service was great man. Seeing so many people from Hope Singapore just amazes me of God's faithfulness and glory. I believe more will come to know of his name! Dine at Rocky Master with the JC people before i head for town with Derrick. LOL. Fun time chilling out. We just talked, ate dao huey before meeting Gar meng to have supper at Prata House.
Sunday- Woke up late and realized if i were to go for tuition, it will be kinda late. So decided to skip. hehe. Met up with Derrick at Novena to study. Well, as usual, we didn't study much. We talk and talk and talk. LOL. At 9, we went to have our dinner and after that we walked to a nearby shop to watch Chelsea vs Liverpool. HAHA. Liverpool is hopeless.
Derrick and me now have 2 top secret questions in our minds. Mission impossible 5! LOL. May be we should uncover the mystery by end of this year? haha.

This song reminds me of God's eternal and everlasting love for his children. I used to sing it so often during my Primary school days in SA but i couldn't see any meaning to that song until when i really know true meaning of having a relationship with Jesus. Simplicity, is what you can use to describe his love but it can be as deep and difficult to comprehend as well. This love can only be found in him alone.
When he saw his son walking back home, He ran to him and put his arms around him and said, Do You know i still love you? Tears of joy flowing out of the father's eyes. He never gave up hope on his children, never once he did. Thank you. =D

Saturday, September 16, 2006 4:14 PMMy scondary 1 teacher, Mrs Gan. HAHA! Always knows for her firm and solemn look and always using the microphone that's attached to a radio to project out her voice. Mrs Yeo See Wan, my secondary 4 A maths Teacher. woohoo, she sure did suffered alot under the most notorious SE class ever in the history of SA. LOL. 4SE'05 gave her a torrid time and i bet she won't ever forget that she taught a class like that. Mr Goh Boon Pin aka Ah Boon. The so called DnT GOD that gave us the cheat codes to enable us to score A1 for DNT. Still there's just too many for me to write down every single teacher.
As i continue flipping those pages, the section reads as CLASSES. The first few classes was those secondary ones. This seriously reminds me of how i was just like themjust a few years ago. With a bowl shaped haircut, pants up to our belly, high socks and with a nerdy posture walking in school. The tradition in my school is that, you seldom have the chance to remain as an angel during the 4 years. So as i promote up to secondary 2 3 and 4, i started to change in my character and of course, outward appearance. Well, change for both the good and the bad as well, must be a balance eh? lol.
The school's culture is what i'm missing now. This sense of pride and ownership that we have in this Saints Family, One Family Unbroken. This identity that all the saints carry with them wherever they go, is just so tangible and difficult to miss. Out of 10 people, 9 told me that they really miss the school and hope they can turn back time and go back to secondary one. HAHA. Well, seriously, i don't mind that. LOL.
Friends in there is something that will always be part of me. Friendship that's being forged together during those times will never be broken. Afterall, the upcoming 4SE chalet is coming up at the end of the year, i will definitely not miss it!
Good things in life don't last long i surppose. Those fun days during Secondary school will never be revive again. As we all grow up, we gotta face the facts of life and not live in this dreamy lala land. Now, in college, it's just so different. Everyone is studying like mad and being so competitive. No more of howling noises in the canteen and ultimately, no more fights to see. HAHA. The latter was a joke. LOL.
Okay, tomorrow i'm gonna make my way down to ICA building to renew my passport and then head down to YMCA building to pass the copy of my passport to the person in charge of the CIP trip. Will be heading for home, change to my new clothes and make my way down to Expo to meet derrick. I really pray that tomorrow's service will be great and impactful to many people! =D
Thursday, September 14, 2006 11:27 PMI really hope my Caregroup will see more people coming, newbelievers, old believers, backsliders or whoever to come to join in this big event. =). Hope some of my members can put off those languid spirit in them to really jump and dance before the Lord!
I was super tired today. Skipped PE to go library to take a nap, i was just too tired to do anything. LOL. After school, went to slack awhile in the library with salem. After that, rushed off with Brian and WingKin. Went to Cityhall to meet Alvin. And we went to Cityhall Basement 2, this UK snack shop. So we ordered a fish fingers snack, we were stuffing ourselves with it because it's just too much .AHHA. We talked , crapped and joke around. I bought a woolen sweater from Zara. I'll use that to go along with a long sleeve button shirt and with a tie for this Saturday. HAHA.
Later, alvin went off for extra lessons near Raffles City then i headed down to National Library to do some research while waiting for him. After his lessons, we went to meet weilun. 3 musketeers headed down to Orchard, i bought myself a tie from Topman. HEHE. Had dinner at Fareast.
Tomorrow after school, i had to plan some english lessons for the Cambodia trip with my group. After that, i will be heading down to RC for Unit Coreteam Meeting. I really hope i have time to study after that.
Well, this week was more like a play week for me. I didn't study much. I still have room to say that previous statement, well done sunny, when your promos is like a few weeks away. Good Job sunny!! LOL. Ok, i promise i will study like mad after this week and revise all the syllabus for my promotional exam.

Wednesday, September 13, 2006 11:55 PMAfter school, rush off for Caregroup. Glad to see the CG was done pretty well. Atmosphere was relatively good too. After Cg, had a quick celebration for Marcus and Davis. It's their Birthday! We had a quick one because both of them need to rush home. =( .
Went to Macs with Andre and Donavan to discuss about some stuff then i headed to Bishan macs to meet Weilun. We studied for awhile before we went home but i didn't really studied much, couldn't really concentrate. HAHA.
Tomorrow after school, most likely gonna hang around in school for about an hour or so then will rush to Cityhall to meet Alvin. We're gonna go on a shopping spree! =D

Got back my progress report. YES! I improved tremendously for Term 3. I passed all my H2 and H1 subjects! Wohoo! I've gotta work harder and pass my promos. I can do it! School's boring today. Loads and loads of tutorials.
After school, rushed down to tuition. I overslept in the bus and i passed by my bustop. =( . Took another bus back and i was super late for tuition. After tuition, went to Town to meet Weilun for shopping. HAHA. It's kinda crazy to shop at this kind of the week?! Tuesday?! But still fun. Saw many people in town. First, i saw Seth, then Joel Koh! HAHA. Joel's working in that ice cream shop at Plaza Singapura basement! That guy's a joker. lol. Then we saw Jovin with a punked up hair and saw Daniel with his Central group dudes.
Went to orchard Wisma to shop. We walked around and weilun was trying the clothes like nobody business. HAHA. I'm waiting for Thursday before i start to buy some of them. hehe. While promos just 1 month away, and yet, i'm here on a shopping spree?! I'm nuts. Because this saturday is Church Anniversary at Expo, so i just want to dress myself up.
Tomorrow after school is Caregroup! Woohoo! Gotta have some special program. HEHE. After Cg, i should be going to study? Because i doubt Thurs and Friday and Saturday i'm going to study. LOL.
Monday, September 11, 2006 2:40 PMThe 1 week holiday has finally ended! Well, this week has been ups and downs for me. Many many things happened! My ministry didn't really went well but i really pray and hope that the up coming week will be better and people will be more connected to the family of God and to the Caregroup.
I believe this is a moulding period for my caregroup and for me. It's only when there's problems then miracles and the power of God can be shown through us! Yes! I'm still believing strongly in what God can, will and must do in my CG to see more breakthroughs in this coming last quater of the year. My Caregroup will be focusing on the area of Servanthood. God spoke to me in this area for my CG that serving one another wholeheartedly is what's lacking in the CG. We must first to serve before we lead. Afterall, Jesus came down to serve and not to be serve!
As for myself, i must learn to serve my guys more, increase my love capacity for them, not viewing them as their leader only, but also to look upon them as brothers and children of God. Be a servant leader, as bible says the first will be the last, the last shall be the first. Ironic i know, but that's how in the Kingdom of God works. Jesus didn't came down to Earth in a glamorous way, but he was born in a stable. He set an example by washing the feets of his disciples. Servant leadership, that is what i need to learn.
Thank God for Alvin and Weilun! Throughout this whole week, they have been the ones that kept listening to my problems that's in my group and life. They kept on encouraging me and directing my focus on God instead on the problems that my CG is currently facing. We studied overnight together, had stay overs, go service together and last but not least, we went prata house for supper 3 times this week! haha. We're nuts.
Now, for the upcoming months, it's my last lap before the year ends. I will be going through all the hours of studying for promos, serving my people and serving god altogether. I will and must do well in all these areas and i know, i'm not alone in this race. JESUS, You're my superhero! HAHA. ok, i'm beginning to let my childish side take control of me. =p
Sunday, September 10, 2006 4:05 PMI must also learn to not let any unrelated stuff to affect my priorities in life so that i can be more effective and able to achieve much more. I can't afford to allow such stuff to wear and tear me down, emotionally/ spiritually/ physically. I need to remain strong in this long marathon that i'm currently embarking. But i know, Jesus is with me. =D
Like what Shakespear once said, " The World's a stage, to us, we are nothing but players." Everything we do, it's like a play or drama. How well we can perform completedly rely on us. How we think, how we react to problems, how we control our emotions etc. I must not be distracted and be affected by them.
Thursday: Met up with Donavan and Andre at Bishan Macs. Taught them a leadership teaching. Went to airport to have a overnight studying session with Alvin, Weilun, Huaxiang, Luke, Julian. I love to spend my night at the airport with my friends, it's just so fun(exclude the studying part). I love to take a walk down terminal 2 to some coffee house to enjoy the all time favourite Latte, or just to take a break and play with the luggage trolleys. HAHA! Studied till 7.30am then went home.
Friday- Was super late for prayermeet. Had DCTM meeting after that. Went to play lan for awhile before Weilun, Alvin, HuaXiang and me stopped over some Durian shop to eat durians! The durians there were damn nice, i will definitely go there again! haha. Went to Alvin's house to wait for him to pack his bag as he's coming my house for a stayover together with Weilun.
We went supper at Prata House at around 12.30? haha. We ate damn alot and still could not satisfy our tummy. haha. Slept at around 3.30am. LOL
I'm so glad to have such close friendship with Alvin and Weilun. These 2 buddies are the closest to me. haha! They ain't only my spiritual buddies but good friends that will help me and encourage me in times of need. Biblical Friendship! :D

Skipped school to have tuition in the morning. I find it better that way because Mr Woo having mass tutorial?! Can't really ask him much questions and i'm kinda weak in my Integration. Went home to chang and met my coreteam members(Andre,Clarence,Donavan,JunHong) in town. Had a short little time of prayer before we headed to Wheellocks NYDC to have our dinner.
Over at the dinner table, we shared, encouraged and spurred one another on in our faith and the works we've been doing for Him. As usual, jun hong shared until he's on the verge of tearing. HAHA. After getting our stomachs filled, we shopped around town for a little while before meeting my OG friends to celebrate Salem's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SALEM!!!
Tuesday-
Woke up early in the morning to go to the Cambodia trip meeting at Boy's Brigade HQ. Mans, that place just brings back loads of memories that i had when i was a BB boy. haha. Had lunch with the cambodia trip people and they kept saying i look like someone from school?!
Met up with siewluan at Tan Tock Seng Starbucks to engage in my mugging. Soon after, Alvin and Weilun came to join us. And i saw Jontay! haha! That funny dude, who's 1 one of my closest friend before he went into army. lol. After studying, alvin me and weilun ( 3 musketeers) went to walk around in United Square before we went to Prata House for supper! The uncle there's is super corny, i kept joking with him. LOL. Alvin stayed over at my house. =D
Wednesday-
Woke up early again because I had a new believer event at Nexus called Metamorphosis. The name itself is self-explainatory. We're all believing that after everyone received Christ's love in our lives, we will be changed and be transformed by Jesus! Like how the ugly wriggling caterpillar can turned into a beautiful butterfly!
Davis, our newbeliever came! Gotta retain the remaining of our new believers to our Caregroup! God help us! I wasn't feeling really well on that day and it was kind of a struggle for me to pull through that whole entire day. The best part was the concert. It was a time that we all met God through the praise and worship.
After the event, i went home to get some rest. Real tired.

Sunday, September 03, 2006 5:13 PMThe Devil Wears a Prada is a nice show! It's funny and i just love how Ann Hathaway dresses in the movie. Damn stylish and nice! Well, the movie's related to fashion, so no surprise. After the movie, i felt as if i have the worst taste of fashion in the world.
Enough of me talking about how good the movie is, you guys should go watch it. haha.
Friday- Met up with clarence to walk around Junction 8, had lunch at the food court. Saw him with his new braces! Totally reminded me when i was sec 3, those days that i just started wearin my braces. Super pain and the worst thing is, you can't eat hard and solid food for at least 2 weeks because the pain gonna kill you. lol. I think there's a price to pay to look nice. Went to RC for prayermeet before playing a game of street soccer.
Headed down to Chinatown with Alvin and Weilun to have our dinner. It's our usual outings at night. Really enjoy time with 2 of my closest friends. We walked to Clark Quay and walked along all those pubs along Singapore river. Then we headed to Esplanade again! Our favourite hanging out place. Came across this band that was playing there, it's damn good. The vocalist is just simply awesome!
Saturday- Serivce, then headed to Centrepoint pizza hut with my Caregroup. Played pool with donavan nicholas and nicodemus. I went home at 7pm?! I feel super wierd to go home while the sky's still bright. haha! Usually on Saturday nights, i will go home around 10 or 11pm but today was exceptional. haha.
Not in the mood to do alot of things lately. Been going home early to rest and not being so much of a midnight cowboy. May be age catching up? haha. nonsense.

Quite a few times, during the different stages in my life, i thought this person is my best friend. Now, we didn't even contact one another, especially those in primary school. LOL. Or it's that we really cut down on the times we used to hang out so often, tauning at each other's house, study together, watching movies together etc.
I hope that the best friends that i have now, won't come upon this state. I know it won't. =D
